Cupcake in the shoe/hat

Postby Guest » December 15th, 2003, 5:09 am

Hi,
I am curious if anybody has seen the cupcake in the shoe or cupcake in the hat performed. I am referring to the method not using the traditional cake in the hat deluxe pan. I have heard varying accounts of its origin, some saying that the method I'm discussing dates back to Al Baker, but that it is not tipped in any of his works. I have heard that John Carney also performs a version of this effect. I am developing a routine of this sort, and am wondering the strong points and flaws of other routines to help in the planning phases.

Thanks,
Oz
