"Clap-On" Prop

I've been experimenting with the "Clapper." You know, that $5 light switch that turns on when you clap? Well, if you mess around with it, I think you oculd probably do a ton of pretty cool effects with it. If you change the tone so it's a snap, not a clap, you can simply snap to close a circut, which can do almost anything. You could turn on music, dim lights, etc. The other cool thing is that if you snap with your thumb goin up you get a very different tone than if it's going across. Hence you can still snap. and you can do effects. What are some of your ideas for it?

I tried it and it was a disaster... every time my audiences broke out in spontaneous applause, my cards began to rise... :D :eek: :D

That's why I changed the tone and use a directional mic, pointing away from the audience.
