Just coat the reverse (white board side) with blackboard paint:

just thought I'd chime in cause I feel for ya...those boards look like you can get them at any office store, but ya can't

If you just need it to write predictions regular white boards do work fine...

you can also get those black ones that you write on with white marker

but I must admit...after I got my hands on a slate...I haven't gone back to my white board.

The glare of white boards can make the writing hard to see from some angles and I dunno the shine on a whiteboard might indicate "tv screen, changable graphics controlled by some switch"

slates are more organic

and one show I did outside with the white board, half way through the show a fine mist started to fall and well I couldn't write a damn thing on the wet whiteboard...grr

I asked a little girl to read to the crowd what was written on a piece of paper..just ain't the same!

my 2 cents

Try a craft store. (The kind of place that sells paints, unfinished doll houses, etc.)

I make a two-sided blackboard for a trick that I market. Contact me and I'll tell you how to alter a one-sided board.
