Just received my Suspended Dimension DVD ("the Jacketless Topit") -- great effect and concept, but they don't provide a printed design that can be provided to a seamstress/taylor and the design isn't something that can easily be described verbally. :help:

Any recommendations on how to track down a written/printed design (I've sent emails to Dan Sylvester and Kevin James, so they may have my answer....) or a seamstress familiar with this approach?

Thanks in advance!

Response back from Kevin:

Show the construction part of the DVD to the seamstress. Or you tell her
what you want.

Very useful considering that it takes Dan 5 minutes to descibe design approach on the DVD, and I know of few seamstresses with DVD players set up in their stores.

Any other ideas?

Draw a pattern for yourself to give to your seamstress/seamster.

Once you've used it, offer to sell it to Kevin James or Dan Sylvester, so the next guy won't have this problem.

Thanks Bill. Just got a nice message from Dan where he offered to help me develop one over the phone. Will do just as you suggested....
