Has anyone seen this silent 2-ring routine?
Cellini does it to music (Somewhere over the rainbow).
I saw him do it live at his San Francisco lecture and it was a tear-jerker.
A very beautiful routine.
I say silent only becuase the rings never make any noise except on 2 occasions. He drops one ring onto another after they've linked. He spins each ring once. That's it. Other than that, the rings silently wave thru each other, melt thru each other, and other impossible goodies.
For the finale, one ring is hanging from the other and it melts off and rocks back and forth as the music finishes. Wow!
Even if you don't use this routine, there are some great ideas here. It's available on his Lord and Master of the Rings DVD.
I was able to memorize and perform the routine (in my underwear in the family room) by just listening to the music on the DVD in just a couple hours, and then just practiced it over and over for a couple more. So it is very attainable. Making it as quiet as Cellini performs it is the trick but that comes later (I hope).
