I saw an ad a few months ago for this stage effect. I remember seeing Harry Blackstone Jr. do this at the old Burt Reynold's theater in Jupiter, Fl. I would be interested to know of the opinion of the members of the Forum.
To describe this, it is the frame into which a plate of glass is inserted and then a large needle and thread is penetrated through the glass in each of four quadrants.
Do you think this is a "yawner" or "killer" or neither?

Are you referring to the trick with the mirror where after the mirror is inserted into the frame it is put into a bag and penetrated with a knitting needle, than after the penetration is complete the mirror is bent ?If so that was also performed by Doug Henning and I have one for sale if interested ( brand new )

The effect is the important thing, how you achieve is not !!

No. This is a stage size effect where the pane of glass is perhaps 2 x 2 feet in size. It was Jim Steinmeyer's version of Peter Warlock's glass penetration.

Well, did you jump up and down or yawn? I kinda yawned when Harry did this on a show I booked, but it is a large and classy looking PUZZLE.
Stay tooned.

You might try to find out if it is still available from Gay Blackstone (I know a lot of stuff was sold off, but there is still a few tons of stuff left).
Stay tooned.
