I'm looking for advice on how much to charge for trade show work. I have many years of experience in restaurant work and walkaround work at private parties. I am well paid for these gigs, especially the private party side.
I've been approached to do a 1 day trade show out of town. I would have to fly in the night before and work 6 hours on the floor and then about 4 hours in the hospitality suite. There's a possibility of working the hospitality suite the night before since I would already be in town.
Obviously all expenses will be paid by the client. I'm hoping that some of the members of this forum can give me a frame of reference for typical fees charged for the work described above. Any advice from experienced trade show performers would be appreciated.
