End of the World / Year Magic Podcast

Discuss the latest news and rumors in the magic world.

Postby Scott Wells » 12/21/12 11:59 AM

It appears that we missed the big one (whew) so this old world will continue to spin. So consider this podcast to be my holiday gift to you.

Thanks goes to all 15 of the magicians who took time out of their day (or night) to talk with me for this five hour podcast. Special thanks goes to Richard Kaufman who was the first to respond to my call and is the first featured in Episode One of this five part podcast. Richard talks about the death of the print media, the rise of digital publications, the future of the Genii convention, and more.

All of this is available on The Magic Word at http://themagicwordpodcast.com/ or you can download the episodes on iTunes with a little search in their podcast store.

Please don't thank me but send your appreciation to Richard and others who gave of their time and participated in this project.

Merry Christmas.

Perfect. Thanks, mrgoat. I noticed that was a link for the U.K. but it works for us in the U.S., too. But here is the link for the U.S.

Thanks for making these available for direct download. There are some of us who don't care for (or use) iTunes.

Thank you, Chris Aguilar, for your comment. I recognize that which is why I am glad that Posterous allows for direct downloading from my website.

But I have also made these available through Google's Feedburner. You can see, hear, subscribe and download at:

Let me know if this is helpful.
