Also laid-in is an interesting letter from Booth while staying at the St. Francis Hotel, in La Salle, IL to Vernon Lux. (No date, but the rates at the Hotel Francis were $1.25-$1.50 a night unless you wanted to add a bathan additional $.25 to a $1.00 for that amenity.
