Picked up mine from my P.O. Box this afternoon in SW Virginia. Hadn't checked it in a few days, so it may have arrived earlier. Read the Malini article online, and it's a great insight into a true legend in magic. Kudos to David Ben for a wonderful job.

You're right, it was September, 1999. some fellow named Hollingworth on the cover. Apparently he's very good.

So far, would you say (to those who have received it) that this timing is typical, early, or later than usual?

Typical. Maybe a shade on the early side. It can take up to over a week for the issue to show up in my mailbox after the announcement that it's in the mail. I've normally read through the digital edition by the time the physical copy arrives.

October issue? hahahahaha. I haven't yet September one (I mean 2012, not 1999 like Bob Farmer ;) )

This is typical. Regularly arrives on 3rd week of the month ... frecuently on Friday ... so maybe I will have today a surprise on my mailbox.
