MESSAGE FROM THE NEW MAGI-FEST TEAM:

THE MAGI-FEST IS BACK !

An eighty-three-year-old tradition just cant die. And, after much work, were pleased to say that the Magi-Fest is back! The tradition will continue, on schedule, January 24-26, 2013 in Columbus, Ohio.

But along with tradition comes a healthy dose of new. The Magi-Fest has been completely re-imagined: more talks, shorter and stronger shows, more lectures, all events held in one location, a more focused dealer room, and more interaction for everyone with featured artists. Organisers Joshua Jay and Andi Gladwin have put together an exceptional team to help make the Magi-Fest better than ever.

We have retained everything we love about Magi-Festthe camaraderie, the atmosphere, the spiritand fused it with cutting edge conference technology and ideology, to bring you what promises to be the convention of a lifetime. For our first year back, we have put together a stellar, international line-up of the best magicians youve never seen.

I heard this a while ago but thought it was just a rumor and kept my big fat trap shut. I'm very pleased to hear it's for real and wish Josh and Andi the best of luck. I know that they will put on a great event!

That's good news, but the hotel is far from the airport.

Thanks everyone! We're really excited to be able to bring back this historic event.

Richard: the hotel is approximately twelve minutes farther from the airport than the Genii Convention hotel is to Orlando airport. It's not a big treck and I'm confident that we'll have enough help out there to make it easy for guests.

Exciting times!

I had the good fortune to meet Andi and Josh at the Genii Bash, and after talking with Andi about their plans for Magi-Fest, it sounds like it will be an amazing convention. I also applaud their committment to carry on the 80+ year tradition from those who came before, while enhancing the event in the process.
