All:
If you own an original retail copy of the Red Mirror DVD, I was wondering if you could please check something for me.

What does the non-printed surface of the DVD look like? Is it the clear silver color or the bluish/purple color?

Also, what type of box/case did it come in? Was it the super slim plastic case, cardboard case, or standard sized DVD case? Any slipcover?

Many thanks!

Red on top Silver on bottom.

Slim box opens like a book. No slip cover.

Got mine directly from Dan and Dave when it first came out.

Hi, Patrick:

Re: the case: is it made of printed cardboard with a plastic DVD holder inside or is it one of those plastic DVD cases with a paper inserted behind the clear plastic on the cover?

Also, does it have the words: "Dan & Dave Present" on the cover?

My copy has thin cardboard printed cover---opens like a book---inside plastic holder for the DVD---which is solid Red color on front and standard silver on back.

"Dan & Dave Present" printed above the mirror and also on the spine. Black is dull with inside of mirror shiny finish.

Hope this helps!

I just ran across this thread. I recently purchased a used copy of this DVD, and the case and disc resemble erdnasephile's description: thin plastic case, a cover that does not include "Dan and Dave Present", and a disc with purplish coloring on the back. I've also had a couple of problems with the disc: audio that disappears during the "Live Show" segment; and a glitch that prevents the full explanation of one of the routines (Aberto Court). Can anyone shed some light on this for me? Are there counterfeit versions floating around?
