Armando Lucero was interviewed at Magic Live bt Magic Agora about the way new magicians learn magic nowadays. What do you think? Is he right? What do you thing about Youtube as a platform for learning magic?, the new international magic school.

It can greatly accelerate the innovation cycle in magic - at some considerable cost to the retail/market for product directed at the consumer who is neither a collector nor working pro looking for polished/finished goods. For the hobbyist it's a wonder, for the 'secret monger' it's a nightmare and for folks who need good props and solid advice it might be a quicker method of getting to the right person for the right item.

Good news/bad news - depends on your market niche IMHO.

Reason: should not affect the academic aspects as it's no biggie to cite or even show the sources online.
