MAGIC Live Registration Available !!!

Flying around the world for the perfect magic convention? Save some dough and share your room.

Unfortunately, my professional and personal life have once again conspired to prevent me from attending MAGIC Live this year (2011).

If you are interested in purchasing my registration, which is 100% legitimately transferable, then please contact me, preferably by phone at 716-812-6198, at your earliest convenience. I will transfer the registration for $300, as opposed to the actual $335 price.

I also have a room reserved at the Orleans Hotel from the 14th to the 18th at $36.00 per night, not $45.

My sessions have all been booked and are as follows:

General Session:
9:30 a.m. - 11:45 a.m.

Focus Sessions:
Monday, 2:00 p.m. - 3:15 p.m., The Biz Side Monday, 3:30 p.m. - 4:45 p.m., Up Close and Personal

Tuesday, 2:00 p.m. - 3:15 p.m., Coffeehouse Conjuring Tuesday, 3:30 p.m. - 4:45 p.m., Directions

Wednesday, 2:00 p.m. - 3:15 p.m., Creativity Wednesday, 3:30 p.m. - 4:45 p.m., Mentalism

Documentary Live:
Monday, 7:30 p.m. - 8:45 p.m.

Parlor Experience
Monday, 10:00 p.m. - 10:50 p.m.

Close-up Experience
Tuesday, 10:15 p.m. - 11:25 p.m.

Live Onstage
Wednesday, 7:00 p.m. - 8:30 p.m.

Film Festival
Wednesday, 9:15 p.m. - 10:15 p.m.

I hope someone can make use of this and that everyone is having an enjoyable summer, despite the extreme temperatures in many parts of the country.

Sincerely,

David Oestreicher

I find it extremely amusing that MAGIC magazine won't refund people's registration money and in turn allow someone on the waiting list to get in, so people have to come to the Genii Forum and sell their registrations. :)

I don't understand. If they don't allow refunds (even this close to the date), why have a waiting list at all?

According to their website, they are still taking registrations.

Okay, that explains it. I was under the impression that it was sold out.

Hmmmm, and I thought they were sold out within a few weeks of first advertising it last year.

And then they found 300 more seats ...

They were sold out.
Then they restructured to accommodate the additional 300.
But it was an awkward solution, so they restructured the convention again to accommodate an even llarger group. The final result is that almost everything is being done twice, with mornings and afternoons mirroring each other.

It usually doesn't help to increase the price of something you've already failed to sell at a lower price.
