From a 1973 newspaper article:

Character actor Tony Giorgio was unhappy.

A scene from "The Godfather," in whic he participates in the barroom strangulation of Luca Brasi, had become too typical of him.

"I asked my agent: 'Why can't I get more parts?'" he said. "My agent told me I look too much like a gangster. So I got my hair styled. Now you know what? I look like a gangster with styled hair."
