Houdini card trick footage from 1926

Discuss the historical aspects of magic, including memories, or favorite stories.

Can anyone provide me with any info about that footage of Houdini doing card tricks that first appeared (I think) in The Golden Twenties, and now shows up in documentaries from time to time. According to Pat Culliton's Houdini The Key, HH made this short for Pathe in early 1926.

Anything at all would be appreciated. Thanks.

Are you referring to the footage of Houdini doing the front and back palm and that spread flourish across his arm where he catches it in mid-air?

When Martin Beck told Houdini to drop the magic and focus on the handcuffs and Metamorphises, he refused to drop the card flourishes from his act. In Houdini!!!, Professor Silverman called it the well-oiled cards, subtrunk, and handcuffs.

Yep, that's the footage. I put a little story up on site about it, along with my own wet-dream speculation that this could have been sound footage.
