H. P. Lovecraft ghostwriting as Harry Houdini.

While reading through an anthology of H.P. Lovecraft stories, I found out that he wrote a story for Houdini in "Weird Tales" magazine (May/June/July, 1924)

It seems Houdini did travel and not sure what returned from under the pyramids. Kind of explains his fussing about the afterlife if he was trying to bring something much bigger up into the waking world. Bandages, chains, crates.etc, perhaps they were practice runs for a larger work of escape?
