"I took this last pic on the way down. It basically sums up the whole "Send Wonder" campaign. If you get lost, or are lost, I may not know, but I care. That sounds a bit cheesy, but it's true. You're not alone."

Jamie's not a spammer! He likes to stuff things into bottles and sell them.

Suess, you've confused me. I don't see any posts here by the "spammer" you've named.

Another admin probably took care of the spammer. I had clicked the "Notify" button when I saw it.

Seuss~ Got it, thanks! That's actually pretty brilliant- just copy and paste old posts so people will see your tag. That said, he could have made a legitimate comment just as easily...

Contemporary glass artist Josh Simpson has been running a similar wonder campaign since year 2000, if not earlier. Some may like to read about it here:

Hiya David!

Thanks for that! Someone must have read this post as they sent me an e-mail regarding this artist today. I hadn't heard of him but that's supercool. I love all street art and am a huge fan of Shepard Fairey, Banksy, etc. I think every one of them is Sending Wonder in their own way.

I read somewhere that Babe Ruth used to hide autographed baseballs for kids to find. :)

What's been so amazing for me is the number of people that have offered to help. It's been touching, moving, and has really shown me what people can do when they believe in something. I can't thank everyone enough!

If you need more droppers I can deliver bottles to places such as: a desk in the gallery of the continental congress in independence hall(said to be jefferson's but you never know), the liberty bell, the viewing gallery for the constitution and declaration, the "rocky" steps, our own rodin's thinker (1 of 6) at the rodin museum, the pop culture LOVE sculpture and many more.

This is the "Send Wonder" deck of images, that I've now got up on my site. Fun! One of them will have a gold card that will give the finder the 100th bottle (Roald Dahl rocks).

Happy New Year everyone!

Jamie, this is a great set, the only problem is now I want bottle #14 to go along with my #14 set of cards. This might be one of the hardest combo collector sets to complete. If anyone has bottle #14 LMK, LOL.

Jeff Pierce

P.S. Bottle #14 was found in VANCOUVER. Cottage Cafe/8:50am ~ Discoverer: Unknown.

Jeff... I have bottle #10... pretty close... I wouldn't sell it though... it was too much work to find it! (that, and it is truly amazing!)

I remember bottle 14... seeing the picture of the bottle on the coffee shop table and wondering which coffee shop it was!

Ahh, the great memories of the Send Wonder Campaign!

Lol, if you ever find one- let me know- I'd buy one for myself! (even I don't have any of the Limited Edition ones, well, except for Bottle #100- which is still up for grabs!)

That said, you could always find another...

He showed me and told me about the magic castle cards in the bottle and how you had to use a regular bicycle case because the orig castle one was too flimsy. That amused me no end! And yes, he is indeed awesome.
