This trick in the October Magicana is brilliant. Fulves is a genius!

In talking with Gregg Webb about it, Gregg pointed out an easy way to obtain a fixed center position...

Do a quick Faro check, place the two halves together and hold a break. Cast out 13s per Fulves' instructions for the top and bottom halves and obtain your check numbers.

Then, out-jog either the card above or below the break and ribbon spread the deck. The out-jog serves as a helpful division point for the spectators, and enables you to formulate new check numbers after the spectators have moved their cards.

(Gregg's monthly ad was omitted from the October issue by error - look for his ads to resume next month.
