NPH was on Ellen today

Discussions of new films, books, television shows, and media indirectly related to magic and magicians. For example, there may be a book on mnemonics or theatrical technique we should know or at least know about.

You can see a clip of Neil Patrick Harris from today's episode of Ellen on the website (the video is currently on the main page, not sure how long it'll stay there though). He's performed some magic every time he's appeared on her show, and this time was no different. Check it out, it's fun.

Neil is mostly interested in stage magic, so it was nice to see him do some close-up, particularly something we gave away in Genii!

OMG! Did she really punch NPH?!? Should we PM the producers?!?

(OMG! Did I really type "OMG" for the first time in my life?)

Nicely done by Mr. H. Ellen's comment about "riffle" is telling. It's right up there with "dribble" IMHO (first time I've ever typed that too).

Ahhh.. HERE WE GO.
That was originally aired in Aprils and stirred up a bit of controversy.

Clever use of the idea and understanding of his character. "Ow, I was punched by a girl" is probably an angle that the creator didn't think of.
