May Issue of Genii in the Mail Today! Let's Track it!

Discuss general aspects of Genii.

Postby Richard Kaufman » 04/10/07 10:07 AM

The May issue of Genii with a great cover story on David Berglas (including a pair of 3D glasses for various things in the issue) went in the mail today, April 10.
We are told by the post office that most of you should have it within 7 to 10 days (excluding Sunday).
So, I want to hear from from all of you on the exact dates you receive the issue. The more folks who get it beyond the 7 to 10 day frame, the more complaints we can bring to the post office, and the more likely we are to see some action!

Wow, I'm left wondering now about my April issue....it's not yet delivered here in Vancouver B.C.

I'd worry about it, but there's nothing I can do about it.

It is a bit odd though, most mail from the States gets to Canada in a matter of 14 days tops.

I'm looking forward to the Berglas issue and hopefully it will arrive sooner rather than later. Today, 4/10, I still haven't received the April issue here in CA.

Success!!!

Greetings,

I am not sure if this will help all of you or not, but I was able to speed up the delivery for just about every one of my different magazine subscriptions by about 2-3 weeks by simply using the four-digit extension on my zip code.

Like I said, it may not help everyone, but it may be worthwhile for some folks.

Keep the change,

You can bet the junk mailers know what it is. Spin through just about any postal mail you receive -- it'll be on there.

Interesting: I just found it at the USPS site (ZIP+4).

There are 21 different ones just for my little gated community!

I'd say that postal accuracy is next to godliness but, as Gallagher observed, goggles is next to godliness.

Greetings,

The May issue arrived here in Pittsburgh, PA on Tuesday--I just was having problems getting online, so I couldn't report it until today.

Like I said in an earlier post, it would have taken about 2-3 weeks longer for the magazine to get here if I wasn't using the four-digit extension on my zip code. That has made all the difference in the world.

Keep the change,
Rick
