March Issue of Genii Now in the Mail

Discuss general aspects of Genii.

Postby Richard Kaufman » 02/11/08 03:34 PM

The March issue of Genii has been mailed--people located in the midwest should start receiving it within the next few weeks.

Marvyn and Carol Roy are on the cover (their seventh appearance on a cover of Genii) in an article written by Shawn McMaster. We also have a complete rundown on Phenomenon by Brad Henderson, covering every episode in detail of the first prime-time network series devoted to an area of our craft in who-knows-how-long. It was pretty much a debacle and Brad, a practicing mentalist, tells us why. Also lots more. Let me hear from you when you receive it.

I didn't say you were going to receive it today, merely that it was mailed. You now have a week to finish the February issue!

Mine arrived in Wichita on 2/13/08. Great article on Marvyn & Carol Roy. My very first Genii from 1974 (?) featured Mr. Electric on the cover. Another very cool issue.

My March Genii also arrived, yesterday 2/13, and also in Wichita. Haven't read it yet, but looks great. I have fond memories of seeing Mr. Electric and Carol on TV when I was a lad, and many years later seeing them perform at a Hank Lee Cape Cod Conclave. Marvelous!

Move to Wichita! Get your Genii early!

Looking forward to it! Does this include the tenyo 2008 previews? I love those plastic gadgets.

Clearly there is no rhyme or reason to adequately explain how the USPS handles the delivery of periodicals. I only received my February issue last Friday. Today I received March. I already know I'm going to love this issue, in part because it'll bring to mind some awfully fond memories I have of MAGIC Live! a few years ago.

My copy arrived in Kansas today. Brad Henderson's review was one of the best reads in a long time! Insightful, brutally honest and a whole lot of fun to read--certainly more entertaining than the series reviewed. I also appreciated Jamy Swiss' review of the Castle Notebooks--spot on as usual. :)

My copy arrived in Southern California today. Thanks Richard for giving the USPS a nudge since this is the earliest I have ever received Genii which makes up for last month's lateness.
