Actually, this fits into pop culture perfectly. A "Blaine" can be 17 minutes of boredom while someone else does something. So instead of a "New York Minute," we can have a "Blaine."
"How long will I have to wait for my car to be fixed?"
"How long will this dental procedure take?"
"Four Blaines, but it will feel like six."
Others will doubtless come up with better uses than I have.
