Then visit THE MAGIC CABARET!

Great news! The response from audiences and critics alike has been so enthusiastic, The Magic Cabaret will be extended past July 10! ALL SUMMER LONG, magic fans will gather at the Biograph Theater, where they will be enchanted by the finest magicians in the Windy City! Join us on Tuesday nights at 8:00, and experience what The Chicago Reader called "astounding feats of prestidigitation"!

If you're planning an evening at The Magic Cabaret, we recommend ordering your tickets early because the show is selling out every week. And if you saw the show in June, come see our wonderful new guest performer, Benjamin Barnes, who will be with The Magic Cabaret for the shows on July 10, 17, 24 and 31.

More guests are on the way!

"Low on hokum and high on thoughtfulness, this evening shows magic to its best advantage, up close and personal." -- The Chicago Reader

I ran into Joe Diamond last night,
and he was talking about the show.
Especially your Cup & Ball routine
Patrick.

Sure you don't want to travel it
up to the boonies?

I hope he was saying GOOD things! I guess we need to check in with David. MAYBE we can take this on the road. That would be interesting.

We are pleased to announce that our special guest performer for the month of August is Arthur Trace! Arthur has taken magical entertainment in the direction of performance art, and in the process he has made quite a name for himself in the world of magic. Acclaimed as one of the most unique acts in magic today, Arthur Trace is the eighth magician in the history of magic to be awarded The International Brotherhood of Magicians' "Gold Medal International Award of Excellence," and in 2006 Arthur became a FISM award winner at the World Championship of Magic in Stockholm. Although Arthur calls Chicago home, he is a regular performer at Hollywood's world-famous Magic Castle and in New York's Off-Broadway hit Monday Night Magic. When not performing in theatrical productions, Arthur can be found entertaining at colleges and private events around the world. We're very happy Arthur is joining us at The Magic Cabaret on August 7, 14, 21 and 28!

THE MAGIC CABARET
is on the Chicago Reader's list of Highly Recommended shows and Center Stage Chicagos list of Must-See Theater!

"Theyre enthusiastic and knowledgeable about the history of magic Chicago style, and they perform astounding feats of prestidigitation." -- Kerry Reid, Chicago Reader Theater Critic

"Treading the tightrope between illusion and reality, Murphy and Parr make art of magic." -- Barbara Vitello, Daily Herald Critic At Large

"Instead of watching tigers become showgirls across a massive auditorium, the lucky viewers at this show will watch the simply impossible happen in front of their noses." -- Reina Hardy, Center Stage Chicago Theater Critic
