On Friday, March 24 at 7:00 p.m., Midwest Magic is proud to present:

One-time member of the Chicago Round Table, a former student of Ed Marlo, and a native Chicagoan currently
residing in the general St. Louis area, is back on the magic scene.

Although he had always enjoyed magic, his real interest with cards was in the gambling area.
This interest was given a boost when he was about ten or eleven years old. He saw John Scarne making an
appearance on the Tonight Show with Jack Paar. Scarne performed some card effects but his demonstrations of
cheating and overhand stacking is what caught Jim's attention.

The next decade or so was spent practicing and collecting books on cards. After all this
practicing and book learning, it was time to move on to the real world. In 1975, Jim stepped into a magic
bar called Mr. C's Magic Lounge located in Berwyn, Illinois. He showed the owner a few things and was
hired to perform four nights a week.

Jim Molinari had become "Jimmy Cards". He stayed at the lounge until its closing in 1980. Jim has wowed them with his
lectures at Fechter's, Midwest Magic Jubilee, Close Encounters of the Magic Kind, Cavalcade of Magic,
Second Deal Convention, National IBM Convention in Miami, and on March 24 at 7 p.m., he will add Midwest
Magic to the list.

"Jim Molinari is one of card magic's best kept secrets. His cull has to be seen to
be believed."--Bill Malone.

"The man with the Bionic Hands"--Ed Marlo.

"Jimmy Molinari, whose shuffle is as fast as the company he keeps!"--Jon Racherbaumer.
