GREATEST DANCING CANE ROUTINE EVER!

Discussions of new films, books, television shows, and media indirectly related to magic and magicians. For example, there may be a book on mnemonics or theatrical technique we should know or at least know about.

Amazing.
I love watching those old hoofers. So graceful, so stylish.

And here the man brings a hat rack to life (my favorite FA routine bar none).

Dave, you and I have to party, man.

Though this routine is a very close second. Heres some movie magic I can handle.

No trick photography here.. just a rotating room.

One thing that stands out.. 99 percent of the magicians doing the Dancing Cane don't dance. The only one I saw that did was Ken Brooke.
Stay tooned.

Fred Astaire was great....but ya' really have to leave some room for Gene Wilder and Peter Boyle when you think of "Puttin' On The Ritz".

As the younger generation would say: ROTFL

Perhaps you'll be more specific in your posts so I don't have to watch the links to get an idea of what's happening (though Pete's comment about the rotating room tells me that the last link must be Fred Astaire in Royal Wedding).
