Jay’s Journal of Anomalies Available in Paperback

Discussions of new films, books, television shows, and media indirectly related to magic and magicians. For example, there may be a book on mnemonics or theatrical technique we should know or at least know about.

Jay’s Journal of Anomalies Available in Paperback

Postby Dustin Stinett » November 21st, 2003, 11:29 pm

Jays Journal of Anomalies has been released in paperback by Quantuck Lane Press (the same folks who published Jay and Rosamond Purcells Dice: Deception, Fate & Rotten Luck). The first edition was published by Farrar, Straus and Giroux. I think Mr. Jay must be quite pleased with his new publisher. Its no wonder: they did a superb job on Dice. Its retail is $25, but Im sure you cheapskates can find a discount somewhere.

Now I just have to explain to the wife why, even though I have the first edition, I need a copy on my birthday. Of course, it will be even more difficult to explain it to her when the opportunity presents itself for me to acquire the originals I am missing! I feel like Wayne Campbell.

They will be mine. Oh yes! They will be mine!

Well you can't have Wayne Campbell. You'll just have to settle for the book. :)

No, no...didn't say I feel like having Wayne.

From that viewpoint, Cassandra would certainly be my choice.

But I'll still have to settle on the book.
