Worst Possible Illusion

Discussions of new films, books, television shows, and media indirectly related to magic and magicians. For example, there may be a book on mnemonics or theatrical technique we should know or at least know about.

Tuesday evening, PBS aired "Worst Possible Illusion: The Curiosity Cabinet of Vik Muniz".

Vik is an artist who works with 'non-standard' tools (he draws with sugar, chocolate, etc.) Some have called him an illusionist. (One of his inspirations was Houdini).

Learn more about his work at the following site:

I saw this special...
Inspiring stuff.

Note: He does the work (in chocalate, sugar, etc.) then, takes a photograph of the work (as the 'art-piece.')

Note #2: In the program, they mention he is (or used to be) an amateur magician.
