For those of you who enjoy all things carny, I recommend Peter Fenton's Eyeing the Flash, the story of a young man's journey through the shadier aspects of carnival life. The book reminded me of Howard Bone's classic, Side Show. Like Bone's book Eyeing the Flash is short and to the point. While I suspect that sometimes Fenton plays Fast and Loose with the facts, I can forgive him because, well, because I enjoy playing Fast and Loose too. :D
Discussions of new films, books, television shows, and media indirectly related to magic and magicians. For example, there may be a book on mnemonics or theatrical technique we should know or at least know about.
