History of "Magicians Choice" effect

A place where beginners can participate, ask questions, and post their views. However, beginners typically ask a lot of questions about sources, tricks, books, and so on. In fact, all magicians are interested (or should be) in the provenance of tricks, ideas, and related matters. This department will service these needs.

I'm looking for references for the Magicians Choice effect. Particularly the use of multiple outs in a prediction.

Thanks ahead of time.

I don't think you can call the Magician's Choice an effect. It is more of a principle. The best use of it comes when it is somewhat disguised.

The 1st reference that came to mind: "The Hedonists Make Up All The Rules", pg. 39 of "Brainstorm In The Bahamas".
