A place where beginners can participate, ask questions, and post their views. However, beginners typically ask a lot of questions about sources, tricks, books, and so on. In fact, all magicians are interested (or should be) in the provenance of tricks, ideas, and related matters. This department will service these needs.
I have just completed an Inventors index to Volumes 1 to 3 of Ian Adair's Encyclopedia of Dove Magic. Unlike the index included in the Encyclopedia, this index is fully searchable, and if you request the Excel file version (it's FREE!), you can also sort it various ways.
More than just Dove magic, the Encyclopedia includes many box tricks (quick! Who invented the Square Circle and when?) that can be used in a large variety of venues, from close-up to stage.
It's on The Magic Nook Web Site- just click on Project: Inventors Index.
