Ten years ago I tried a campaign with New York Magazine, but couldn't afford the rates that they were charging the Escort services. I even called them on it and said to my rep. "You better come up with a much, much better offer, because I can't afford the same rate your chargin the whores...and right now you have four pages of them..." No response, and I dropped the ad. 16 other mags have started the trend ,Time Out New York, and New York Press...maybe one near you is next? Do you think magicians stand a chance to get back into the game?
