I am developing a "bank night"-type routine (based on something that Jim Steinmeyer first published)where a $100 bill is placed in one of FOUR envelopes. Three envelopes are destroyed; the surviving envelope contains the bill. The performer never touches the envelopes. In fact, the bill is not switched or removed. The whole effect rides on an elimination/inclusion process, with multiple "outs" and some verbal gymnastics. I'm not happy with it yet and could use some ideas. Can anyone suggest techniques or routines for a convincing FOUR-WAY "equivoque"?
