Chairs effect

I would greatly appreciate source material for the chairs effect. (Other than Banachek, Richardson and Kurtz).
I saw one some years ago where colors were also foreseen. Wish I could find it.
Thanks very much.

Armchair Bowler comes to mind but it only uses one chair.

The only source I know for the chairs with colors foreseen is Gary Kurtz's. I'm not sure why you don't want Kurtz called out as a source.

Eric, Gary's routine is seminal. Since I already have his booklet on it, as well as the other two I mentioned, I was looking for additional sources.

What IS the "Chairs" effect exactly?

This is my routine for the chairs:

5 chairs on the stage.
5 volunteers are asked to come.
5 enevlopes are held by me.
The spectator, one after the other, are asked to name ANY number they want. I hand them the enevlope with the number written on it and they sit on their chairs. Everybody in his turn names a number, takes the right envelope and sits down (the last one takes the last envelope..)

Then they open the envelops.
The first one has a red card.
Under his chair there's a red balloon.
The second one has a green card.
Under his chair there's a green balloon.
etc. etc. etc...

I think that's the best routine with chairs.

Ehud, that is very similar to the routine I have in mind. I am stuck on method. In fact, as with your post to my design duplication inquiry, the important point is to make the show your own. I happen to work with several pros as, for lack of better term, director. It's there show, there ideas for the creative presentation - often the methodology is taken from various sources. The important thing is to make the presentation your own. Combining my years of experience as an actor with my years in magic allows me to help them do that. I would greatly appreciate some help with method. The routine/presentation is mine. In fact I have something different than balloons - the client's product. thanks very much.
