Boys' Life Magazine magic section....

Discuss the historical aspects of magic, including memories, or favorite stories.

When I was in scouts, they had a monthly magazine called boy's life. The magazine had a one page magic section that got me interested and started in magic.

Does anyone know if they ever had a compilation of the magic section? Does anyone remember the name of the magician that wrote for it?

Thanks in advance!

Boy's Life has been around for a long time. When would you have been reading the magazine? I will be by a used book store that carries old magazines midweek and would be happy to take a look if I knew what era to look at.

I'm pretty sure that the magic columnist (though there may have been more than one) for Boys Life was Bill Severn.

Robert Lund, also wrote in one issue, an article/bio on Houdini.
For many, the ads from Top Hat Magic Company and Douglas Magicland, in Boys Life, got many started in magic.
