In Milbourne Christopher's Illustrated History of Magic, there's a black and white rendering of what appears to be a Thurston Window Card or Poster featuring the famous Vanishing Pony illusion. The illustration features a close up of the horse and platform, along with some text, but without the image of Thurston that commonly appears on posters associated with the effect. Is the Christopher piece a Window Card? Has anyone ever seen a color illustration of one of these things, or better yet, the actual piece?
Discuss the historical aspects of magic, including memories, or favorite stories.
