Today I got a mail with a funny story that I would like to share from my friend Magician Ed Taytelbaum, Holland (winner of the FISM Close Up Prize 1955 in Amsterdam) Ed was also a close friend of the legend Fred Kaps, Holland.

"YEARS AGO WHEN I WAS ABOUT 25 YEARS OLD I HAD A THAYER CATALOGUE
(WHICH I STILL HAVE) I SAW THE ADVERTISEMENT FOR THE BLUEPRINTPLANS FOR THE
DISEMBODIED-PRINCESS. FOR DAYS I HAVE BEEN THINKING ABOUT THE SOLUTION. THEY
WAY I SAW IT , IT COULD ONLY BE DONE WHEN THE LEGS WERE FALSE, BUT THE
ADVERTISMENT STATED (ABSOLUTELY NO FALSE LEGS) I WAS AT LOSS. SO I SEND FOR
THE BLUEPRINT.YOU WON'T BELIEF THIS, BUT YOU NEED A FALSE HEAD. MIND YOU
THIS WAS 1950, WHERE THE HELL WOULD YOU FIND SOMEONE TO MAKE YOU A FALSE
HEAD !
THIS ADVERTISER SHOULD BE EXECUTED BY A FIRING SQUAD.

KEEP UP YOUR GOOD WORK EDDY TAYTELBAUM"
