Winston Freer/Maxam/aladeen

Bonjour!

I've always been fascinated by this man and his legend...The seldom stories one can find online are well-known, but I can't believe that no contemporary magician never wrote about him...

Do you think that some day, some more information would arise to be studied?

I've read that a well-known magic writer would release such a book; I think it was Ton Onosaka that was mentioned (please correct me if this is wrong)...

Any info, anecdotes or story about the great Winston Freer?

Best,

I'm a great admirer of Winston Freer.

The man who has done the most research is Gene Matsuura, and I dearly hope he will publish a book about Freer.

Gene Gordon talks a little about Freer in his book Gene Gordon's Magical Legacy, published by David Ginn, now out of print and not likely to be reprinted.

The book is a goldmine of solid commercial magic and is right there beside my Karrell Fox and Billy McComb books.

I envy you...^^

Here's a link I found some time ago:

D.Duvivier hosted some G.Bloom's articles about the man in his magazine "Le Magicien". I used to have it but can't find it actually...

Thanks for the infos,

Lawrens
