We used to call this camera trick a "double exposure." <g>

As opposed to the technology I read about in a military info subscription service a few years ago. This particular technology actually uses cameras on the backside of an object to transmit a picture to tiny displays on the other side to effectively make invisible the object in between.

The latest Bond flick used something along this line as the explanation for the technology behind the cloaked AM.

And while I'm thinking about it, imagine the impact this technology will have on magic illusions.

X-Ray specs bring back a lot of memories..good ones. About 15 years ago I was pitching magic, mostly Svengali's and selling the X Ray specs also, without a pitch. I sold dozens of these and never had one pair returned.I'm sure there are some people who still buy into the illusion.

See, this illustrates the difference between overt and covert action. I found the covert piece of mirror on the shoelace to far outweigh the overt geek glasses in entertainment value.

Well, if I understand the subtext of a certain "street magic" video advertisement, I think the Two-Card Monte preceeds the clothes-ripping-off move.

A couple of years after the US government decided to show the Stealth at airshows, I found myself at a popular airshow taking photographs of this flying wing...only to have no pictures develop on my film.(They would only do fly-overs). The result was sky only. Maybe I missed the shot, probably not. For years I showed people pictures of my "Stealth",they all thought I was crazy.
---Fast-forward five years, to when Princess Diana got into her fatal car crash, there were some articles that said the limo she was in, did not have some "photographic blocking" technology, due to the fatal limo being called suddenly into action... When I read this, I realized that in it's earliest years of being "shown" to the public, the Stealth bombers had some kind of technology within them that blocked you from photographing them.
