Someone who knows Shoot Ogawa's email might want to alert him to this deal. At the Castle on Wednesday we were discussing this book and he was very interested in obtaining a copy of CoinMagic.

Obviously good news for those of us with these holes in our libraries.

A question - my collection, if you can call it that is hard bound volumes of magazines (commercially produced books, not bound in the aftermarket). Anyway, I'm confused by this reprint of volume 3 of "The Compleat Invocation". I'm familiar with the large volume containing all of the Invocation and all of the New Invocation.

Is the book currently being reprinted part of a set of separate volumes contained in the 900 page book that is now out of print?

Thanks.....
sam

The Complete Invocation Volume 3 contains all the issues of The New Invocation published AFTER those which appear in Volumes 1 and 2.
Volume 3 contains the final issues published by Tony Andruzzi, everything from 37 to the end.

The New Invocation contains the rantings of Tony Andruzzi, aka Masklyn ye Mage, and many effects and routines involving both Bizarre Magick and mentalism.
Like everything Tony Andruzzi did, it should be a required part of your library.

I agree I'm as thick as a loaf of bread, but I don't seem to have ever noticed a "Compleat Invocation, volume 2" published by K&G...

I have a "The Compleat Invocation", published in 1986 which sold for $125 and that contains nr. 36 as the last issue of the magazine... is the volume above the follower of that tome? Or there is another volume which I haven't got? Or is this volume a reprint (the title of the thread is confusing) of the above-mentioned book?

Many thanks, all the best, ciao!

Compleat Invocation 1 and 2 were first published as two volumes in a single slipcase. The second volume contains issues 1 to 36 of New Invocation.
Compleat Invocation volume 3 contains the balance of the issues edited by Tony Andruzzi, from 37 onward.

When are they shipping?
My credit card was just billed so I'm assuming that they'll go out soon.

The final book of the four was bound yesterday.
Tomorrow all four books will be shipped to the warehouse, where they will be checked in.
I would say that they should start shipping on Friday.
All credit cards were charged the other day, and all checks and money orders have been deposited in the bank.
Hope you enjoy the books!

Now-- two sleepless nights later I must thank Richard for reprinting Invocation 3.

Now if we could only get reprints of the bound "Magic" series -- I have only found one available........(of the series.) Any chance of acquiring those????

But -- when does RK have time to sleep? Methinks his labours in rescuing Genii and maintaining a book publishing business is a superhuman feat. Maybe he has made a pact with the dark powers of the Bizarrist community -- publish or perish....

Either that or RK is a genius bent on preserving the American Dream of working to hard -- as recreation.

Thank you Richard.
