Cliff Green's Professional Card Magic

Postby Guest » July 21st, 2006, 2:50 pm

Could Sir Richard :genii: or anyone share some information on this book with me? I would love to own a copy but I can not recall ever seeing one for sale here or on eBay.
I read in another post that Mr.Kaufman owns the rights to this book,(that makes his top ten list)and is going to reprint it? If so, is there a time for this release? Thanks to anyone who can share some information. :p

Best,
Jeff

I purchased the copyright several years ago and am working on a new and more clearly written version.

Here are several that are for sale right now:

And there are a few nutcases on ABE Books who think their copies are worth hundreds of dollars, but at least this one is signed:

YOU should give John Greget in Phoenix, Arizona, a call: he had a nice copy for sale last week at the SAM convention in Louisville! A much better price than those on ABE books.

The signed copy is still overpriced. Jeff, if you are patient, you should be able to find a nice copy for $75 or so, less if condition is not important. Clay

Whatever happened to the Tannen's paperback reprint? It was inexpensive when I bought it. Still available?

Although I've now got a signed 1st edition, I once (circa 1983) had a SPIRAL/WIRE BOUND edition which I've never seen since...or before, as a matter of fact.

Tannen's reprint is long gone.
Also, there has never been a legal spiral bound edition. I think what Paul saw was a Tannen reprint that someone had wire bound so it wouldn't fall apart.

Yes...I guess so. Possibly done by previous owner. But it looked ancient. (The spiral binding was similar to the early editions of Garcia's 'infamous' 1972/73 books.)

ANYWAY....

I look forward to a reprint. Am I right in saying that the Christ trick is not as Christ did it..or it was incorrectly described? I use Vernon's 'CHaSeD' handling from The Chronicles, but is that Christ's original?

A search at switchboard.com turned up three different John Greget's in Phoenix. I believe the one to look for is John A. Greget, in which case, you can find his info here: John A. Greget @ switchboard.com
