Re: Card College
I'd been doing card magic for twenty years before I got my first volume from Card Collage (vol.3) at a swap meet.
I've since purchased all five volumes.
Highly recommended.

If for no other reason, a more modern up-to-date all-in-one-place collection of sleights.

Specifically, you should resist the temptation to skip Volume One, because it tells you how to do an overhand shuffle, deal cards fairly, or hold a break, and you already know how to do these things.
You may find, as I did, that you only think you know how to do these things.

Let me guess.... the answer is inside a hermetically sealed mayonnaise jar on Funk & Wagnall's porch?

Re: Card College
I assure you all that it is coming; however, it won't be this year, or perhaps next. But it is coming!

Hi everyone - Genii Forum's newest member here...
I just wanted to pipe in and agree with what everyone else is saying here. Even though I'm an absolute novice in the art of legerdemain, the five volume set from Giobbi was the very first thing I purchased after reading numerous (very positive) reviews on many different forums.
I'm not even through volume one yet, and I already scare myself! This is a fantastic learning tool for beginners, as well as a wonderful reference for those more advanced. I'm sure I'll be refering back to these books for years to come.
Thanks for the "heads-up" on volume six. I'll definately be adding it to my library as soon as it becomes available!
Great stuff!
