Any recommendations on a magic set for a child aged 5-7? Thanks.

There aren't a lot of choices out there right now. Most magic sets are generally 8 and up. There is one put out called "My First Magic Set" that I used to see at Zany Brainy (now closed). ToysRUS stocks lots of Marvin's Magic sets.

Duh--I forgot about Fantasma Toys for a moment. I really enjoyed the Legends of Magic set. Has a LOT in it and your young friend will enjoy the tricks while YOU will enjoy the "legends" videotape.
