Anyone that wants to see the photos from the World Magic Seminar, go to
www.worldmagicseminar.com
And click on Photos 2002
Note: The stage shots were taken with a Nikon 80-400mm Zoom from the very rear of the showroom, mostly at 400mm, with a D1, Nikon Digital camera at 400 ASA, set to underexpose 2 stops (to keep from burning out the hightlights from the spot).
Others taken with 17-35 Nikkor Zoom.
Stay tooned...

Peat -- The World Magic Seminar pix are fantastic, I think they're among the best you've taken. It's amazing that you can get that quality from the rear of the theater.
Many thanks.

It's interesting to note that digital cameras come in film speed ratings. I am so behind. Great photos.

Pete,
Thanks for providing us with an overview of the World Magic Seminar through your report and photographs. It's appreciated.
Now put your cameras down and get back to work on "Son of Greater Magic".

Pete, Great shots! Thanks for sharing. You get amazing results with the digital cam.
Next time we meet would love to talk more about that with you.
Cheers!

YO dudes... thanx
Ask Kreskin sez, "Don't be too amazed, I do this for a living."
Yah, the new Nikon digital stuff is awesome, even the 2-versions back obsolete one I use.
Actually I had to degrade the images so they would load fast.
Can make nice big prints, but for monitor viewing you don't need great resolution.
The 80-400mm zoom lens is KILLER for sure. Altho if I sat in front row, I could shoot with a shorter faster lens. Many I didn't post were blurred due to slow shutter speed and folks on stage moving fast... heheheh
Some still don't light well and you could hardly see what they were doing (Hamners in particular)...
stay tooned..
NICE TO SEE GEMINITES ROLLING OVER HERE
