Great link Mr Goat. I had an interesting time thinking about how some of those were made.

Several of Harry Eng's techniques have been published. I believe there are a couple in the Paul Harris trilogy, possibly how he would put a complete cased deck of cards in bottle and how he would get a ping pong ball in. The vise he invented for getting coins into bottles is detailed in one of the tribute volumes to Martin Gardner, probably the first (THE MATHEMAGICIAN AND THE PIED PUZZLER). I believe Lance Pierce wrtoe a wonderful tribute to Eng, not sure if it has been published. Lance?

Richard is correct; Harry's technique for putting a deck of cards into a bottle and a ping-pong ball are in Art of Astonishment. I put a couple dozen decks of cards into bottles, in the process working out a few variations to Harry's procedure that made it much easier for me. These were published in in December 2001 M-U-M, and if anyone wants them please email me and I'll be happy to share.
