Dove from Balloon

Anybody do a dove from baloon? I'm looking for a reference.

There's a dove from balloon in one of Chris Carey's Do the Stuff That's You books. I think it's in book 1. I would also assume that using an invisible harness to produce the dove as you pop the balloon would work as well.

I have never really liked doing it because I believe it looks to the audience very traumatic to the dove. I have had female assistants not like it at all. Just my thoughts.

David Stone's Bottle Production could be adapted.

I agree with Kendrix. I saw David Michael Bass do this and the dove was realy stressed. It immediately turned me off his act. Please, give it a miss.

Thanks Graham and Kendrix. Your comments are interesting. In fact, the effect I'm looking for has to be easy and ethereal, not stressful, so your comments are not lost on me. Thanks, also Bill, I too was thinking of adapting the Stone bottle production, but I may have to rethink the whole concept....Back to the drawing board....
