Magic Wands - Where to Buy ?
Magic Wands - Where to Buy ?
Does anyone know where you can buy high quality magic wands ( NOT the harry potter style ) ?
Re: Magic Wands - Where to Buy ?
I got a nice hardwood wand, 16 inches, from Aaron Smith at the Magic Depot. Its fairly plain which was my preference. It is very nicely weighted for wand spins and such and has a nice classy look without too much flash. I don't know what others they may have but it might be worth checking into. http://www.magic.org/

I'll second this recommendation. I've got several Porper wands. They always spark conversation. Something that makes them ultimately practical is the ability to unscrew the wand to carry it in a nice padded case.

I asked the same question this past Summer and ended up getting a custom wand from Thomas Wayne. He walked me through the whole process as we designed the wand, and he had very good communication. The wand is made of ebony with mastodon tips and silver pin rings just below the tips. Absolutely stunningly elegant.

I concur on the Porper Wands. He made me one with my stage name engraved on it. The "screwing together" bit is fun - especially if you follow it up with Harris' "Screwed Deck" prop.

I love the two Porper wands I own and the one Thomas Wayne made for me a few years ago.

That's interesting Charley. I e-mailed Thomas Wayne a few months ago about ordering a wand and Ramsay Cylinder...and never received a reply. I tried once more and...well...never received a reply...
