van Dokkum Linking Rings

Greetings......has anyone seen or personally familiar with the van Dokkum Linking Rings, especially the Locking Key Ring? How good are they compared to a set of Merv Taylor Stainless Steel Rings?

Not sure of release date, but Jason Latimer was using a fantastic new set of linking rings from Joe Porper... 3 ring set but starts with 2 and the 3rd MAGICALLY APPEARS AND VANISHES in a spectacular fashion. He had one set at FISM that he sold... not cheap, but worth it.

Are the rings you write about the rings that Jason uses in his act ? If so, what was so spectacular about it ? Please don't get me wrong but I did not think it was spectacular at all and I am not saying this to disparage Jason or his work...

I don't know if these are what he used in his stage act as I was busy and missed it... the effect of the new Porper rings is that you have two rings and do several nice moves, etc. and suddenly you have three rings... a third ring just appears... and then it is gone.

As with all of Porper's work, these are very fine quality and are made via compueterized CNC machine. I don't know any details as yet.
