My friend, the extraordinarily clever magician Angelo Carbone, has come up with a card change that will make your eyes pop out of your head.

Yes I aim to get it working 100% and intend to market it.

No sleight of hand. Will be automatic.

A nice touch is the card can be signed and the signature still remains on the card after the change.

This is probably some of the most visual magic i have ever seen. Very impresive!
The fact that the signature remains on the card adds to it even more...can you then give the card away?

The angles are great. Can be surrounded with people looking down over your shoulder all around you from all angles.

Sadly the card cannot be examined though.

This is still amazing to watch.

Although the signature seems to be the same idea that I've been using for Signature Swindle, the actual change it's self is something else.

When you say that the card cannot be examined do you mean all together or just at the start?

Can it be examined after the change is what I'm asking I guess.

Alas the card cannot be examined at all. It would be great if it could but the method used to accomplish the change makes inspection impossible,

So the whole card is gimmicked? Can't fathom how but it is incredible looking.

But then the same can be said about your rising card.

To bad I can't see the video of that for some reason. I just get a EVOGAMERS.COM web page but no video. Is there anywhere else I can view it? Perhaps in Windows media?

Yes Glenn the whole card is gaffed to the hilt as they say.

The change looks incredible. But what is that sound in the clip? Does that sounds really occur during the change, or is it a technical glitch in the file or something else irrelevant?

Hi Daniel,

Believe it or not the sound at the exact moment the card spins is made by the force of my fingernail as it hits the edge of the card as I flick it.

I hope to make it a self spin trick to replicate the real spin flourish. No flicking required.

But I must say, I suspect I will not like the self-spinning version nearly as much. To me if the card spins by itself that says that this is not a normal card. But a card you can flick and it changes, I can imagine a ton of routines that I can work that into, where the card will not be suspected.

BTW the mpg file I downloaded had two frames repeated right at the moment of the change. Was that a glitch in the file, or on my computer, or was it necessary to conceal the method?

Also, is there a link to your performance of the rising cards? I've always wanted to see that.

You are the second person to say there are 2 frames repeated. You had me go back and look at the footage again. I just cant see where it is. I assure you that it is not there to hide the method. It can be done live - no camera edits.

As for the self spin, I visioned that I apparently give a light flick of the wrist to create the illusion I give momentum to start the card spinning when of course this is not the case. I don't just simply keep my hand motionless and let the card spin by itself. That would be very suspicious. I am going down this route because after numerous flciks to to the edge of the card with my fingernail, the card gets dog eared and bent which is not good.

Looks great. I've an odd question for you, what was the items you tossed? I couldn't tell from looking at them nor could I understand the word you were saying, I think I am just not familiar with what it is.

Hey Steve,

The two toys I tossed over my shoulder in the rising card video are Morizo and Kiccoro which are the official mascot characters of EXPO 2005. The mascots names were chosen through a naming competition that attracted more than 80,000 entries.
