Looking for an effect by Roy Johnson called "Lucky Cards". Anyone familiar with it? I understand it was in a set of his lecture notes and also sold as a dealer item

'Lucky Cards' can be found in Roy's lecture notes:'Be My Guest (1989), which unfortunately will be hard to track down nowadays.

'Lucky Cards' can be found in Roy's lecture notes: 'Be My Guest', which is now out of print I believe. The basic effect is a little like the original 'Fred' trick (or 'Phil' trick by Trevor Duffy which is sold today). Roy's however, is a
version I personally prefer: it's very commercial, especially for restaurant work; there's a great deal of fun to be had from it and, it is a very strong effect considering all you need are a pack of cards, two matching Jokers
and a marking pen. excellent!
